Posted in the topic MMOexp-Diablo 4: Brandish Build Scaling Beyond Expectations in the forum News and Announcements
    January 27, 2026 6:40 PM PST

If you're looking for one of the smoothest, most satisfying builds in Diablo 4 this season, the Brandish build is an absolute standout. It combines massive screen-wide AoE, absurd mobility Diablo 4 Items, and boss damage that scales far beyond expectations. Originally designed as a general-purpose farming build, Brandish has proven itself capable of clearing Pit 100 effortlessly and even deleting bosses well beyond Pit 110.

What makes this build special isn't just its damage-it's how flexible and comfortable it feels. You can swap passives on the fly, maintain nearly permanent ultimate uptime, and move through content at a pace that few builds can match. Whether you're pushing endgame content, farming Torment 4, or just looking for a powerful low-stress setup, Brandish delivers.

    Core Concept: Why Brandish Works

At the heart of the build is Brandish, a basic skill that costs no resource to use. This alone makes it incredibly valuable, as it frees the build from traditional resource constraints and allows us to scale damage in unconventional ways.

Brandish is paired with the ultimate Arbiter of Justice, which transforms your character and unlocks the true power of the build. While in Arbiter form:

Wing strikes automatically attack enemies around you

Enemies are consistently applied with Vulnerable

You gain access to massive damage multipliers from Celestial Strife and Ascension

Your evade distance is dramatically increased

The result is a build that clears entire screens passively while you dash around, reposition, and stack damage multipliers that simply don't exist outside of Arbiter form.

Arbiter of Justice Uptime and Mobility

Maintaining Arbiter form is essential, and the build is designed to do exactly that. With proper cooldown reduction, Arbiter of Justice has:

     30-second cooldown

     54-second duration

This means you have enormous leeway to keep it active permanently. Even with mistakes or downtime, Arbiter form is always available when needed.

Mobility is another major strength. While transformed, Arbiter allows you to evade much farther than normal. Combined with boots that reduce evade cooldown when attacking, you can attack and evade almost nonstop. This creates a fluid, high-speed playstyle where positioning, dodging, and clearing all blend together seamlessly.

    Defensive and Passive Synergies

The build runs multiple auras to balance survivability and damage:

Defiance Aura provides strong defensive bonuses

Fanaticism Aura boosts offense and increases maximum resource

Holy Light Aura deals constant passive damage

Holy Light Aura is especially valuable in Torment 4 content. Even without heavy investment, it kills weaker enemies automatically. This means you can safely AFK for a moment-grab a drink, step away, or handle real-life interruptions-without worrying about dying.

Maximum resource scaling is a hidden powerhouse in this build. Thanks to the Adaptability Aspect, higher max resource directly translates into more damage, which is why Fanaticism and specific paragon nodes play such a critical role.

    Gear Overview and Alternatives

    Helm: Heir of Perdition

This item is used to stack critical strike chance, allowing you to hit crit caps without relying on multiple gear slots. If you roll additional max resource or holy damage multipliers, even better.

    Chest: Shroud of False Death

One of the most important pieces in the build. It provides:

     Massive all-stat bonuses

Strength scaling for both damage and armor

+1 rank to all passives, which dramatically boosts offense and defense

This chest alone adds an enormous amount of value across your entire skill tree.

    Gloves: Pain-Gorged Gauntlets

These gloves amplify Brandish by applying a mark through effects like Holy Light Aura or Consecration. When Brandish hits marked enemies, it triggers an echo dealing 125% bonus damage. While it doesn't show as a direct damage multiplier, the real-world effect is massive.

    Pants: Indomitable

Indomitable scales armor based on block chance, making max block a top priority. Pants can also roll additional ranks to Brandish, further increasing damage output.

    Boots: Arbiter Zephyr

These boots ensure near-constant evades, which is crucial for mobility and survival. Arbiter duration rolls are helpful but not mandatory thanks to ring-based cooldown reduction.

    Weapon: Supplication (or Griswold's Opus)

Supplication offers strong overall performance and quality of life, especially with Brandish double-damage rolls. Griswold's Opus can technically provide more single-target DPS but lacks the same smooth feel. For most players, Supplication is recommended.Jewelry and Aspects

    Amulet: Celestial Strife

Celestial Strife stacks damage while killing Vulnerable enemies during Arbiter form. Since Vulnerable uptime is nearly permanent, this becomes one of the strongest multipliers in the build.

    Rings:

Adaptability Aspect: Scales damage based on maximum resource

Ascension Aspect: Provides massive damage stacks after casting Arbiter of Justice

Cooldown reduction for Arbiter is mandatory on both rings. Greater affixes here are extremely valuable.

    Shield: Moonrise Aspect

Moonrise boosts attack speed and synergizes with Brandish. Be careful not to overcap attack speed-if capped, alternatives like Holy Punishment may perform better.

    Runes, Gems, and Consumables

    Runes

Au + Zhan for bonus damage without draining resources

Avoid resource-burning runes that reduce Adaptability scaling

    Gems

Ruby in pants, shield, and one accessory

     Emerald in weapon and accessory

     Topaz in one accessory

These cover the most dangerous damage types you'll encounter in high-end content.

    Consumables

Elixir of Advantage for attack speed

Armor elixirs if speed isn't needed

Strength and armor incense for pushing content

    Skill Tree Breakdown

    Key priorities include:

     Maxing Brandish with Returning Light

Pey for increased maximum faith (resource scaling)

On Guard for block chance and armor

Fanaticism Aura → Rite of Vengeance

Defiance Aura → Rite of Might

Holy Light Aura → Rite of Judgment

Arbiter of Justice fully maxed with Seraph's Wings

Keystone: Code of Arms, scaling from armor and block chance

Nearly every node reinforces armor, block chance, Vulnerable damage, or max resource-creating an interconnected web of scaling that makes the build explode in power.

    Paragon Board Setup

Paragon boards are where the build truly comes together:

1.Spirit Glyph on the starting board

2.Castle Board with Apostle Glyph (massive armor scaling)

3.Preacher Board with Candy Glyph (attack speed scaling)

4.Beacon Board with Arbiter Glyph (block chance and resource)

5.Shieldbearer Board with Judicator Glyph (block-based damage)

Armor and block chance are the two most important stats across all boards. The Castle and Shieldbearer boards alone account for some of the largest damage multipliers in the entire build.

A midgame version is also recommended, trimming excess paths for faster early power spikes.

    Final Thoughts

The Brandish build is one of the most enjoyable and powerful setups in Diablo 4 right now. It combines effortless AoE clearing, absurd boss damage, constant mobility, and strong survivability-all while using a basic skill as its primary attack.

From Torment 4 farming to Pit 110+ boss kills, this build handles everything with ease. It's flexible, forgiving, and incredibly fun to play, making it an excellent choice for both casual players and high-end pushers Diablo 4 materials for sale.

If you're looking for a build that feels smooth, powerful, and endlessly scalable, Brandish deserves a spot at the top of your list.

Posted in the topic MMOexp-POE:Lightning Golems Low Budget Gear and Skill Setup in the forum News and Announcements
    January 27, 2026 6:40 PM PST

Lightning Golems have always occupied an awkward space among Path of Exile's minion archetypes-flashy, thematic, but often overshadowed by stronger chaos or poison-based options. That said, with the right investment and expectations, Lightning Golems can still deliver a solid, tanky POE currency, and satisfying minion playstyle. In this guide, we'll break down a Necromancer Lightning Golem build that focuses on permanent minions, strong defenses, and respectable endgame viability across multiple budget levels.

This build was originally played on Ascendant during Crucible League, but extensive changes to Witch ascendancies over recent leagues have pushed Necromancer firmly into the spotlight. While the build isn't a league starter and requires some upfront investment, it becomes increasingly stable and comfortable as you scale it into medium and high budgets.

    Build Overview

The Lightning Golem Necromancer centers around permanent minions with high survivability, decent single-target damage, and good clear speed. Golems can be toggled aggressive when needed, allowing for smoother mapping and better boss focus.

    Strengths

     Permanent minions with excellent survivability

Solid clear speed and respectable boss damage

Strong defensive layers for both player and minions

Scales well into medium and high budgets

    Weaknesses

Requires Anima Stone and Primordial jewels, creating an early investment barrier

Not viable early in the campaign

Heavy gem pressure in later setups

Damage scaling lags behind poison or chaos minion builds

Because of these limitations, this build is not recommended as a league starter.

    Leveling Strategy

Lightning Golems are not suitable for early leveling, so you'll want to use another skill until the required items and passives are online.

    Recommended leveling skill:

Absolution-Available at the end of Act 1 and provides an extremely smooth leveling experience.

    Once you acquire:

The Lightning Golem of Hordes transfigured gem

     The Golem Commander notable

you can safely transition from Absolution into the full Lightning Golem setup.

A passive tree progression and campaign skill guide are strongly recommended for players unfamiliar with minion leveling paths.

    Ascendancy Choice: Necromancer

Necromancer offers everything Lightning Golems need: damage, survivability, and resistance scaling.

    Core Ascendancy Nodes

Commander of Darkness-Boosts minion damage, attack/cast speed, and elemental resistances

Mindless Aggression-Flat damage and movement speed for minions

Bone Barrier-Major defensive boost and up to 20% life recovery per second through minion leech

Mistress of Sacrifice-Allows Bone Offering to apply to the player, significantly improving block and defenses

Once Mistress of Sacrifice is allocated, swap Flesh Offering for Bone Offering to further enhance survivability.

    Scaling Lightning Golems

    Lightning Golems scale primarily with:

     Gem levels

     Flat added damage

     Cast speed

     Critical strike chance and multiplier

     Maximum number of golems

Early on, assembling all of these stats is difficult, which is why the build feels underwhelming before proper investment.

Unlike Carrion or Stone Golems, Lightning Golems gain little value from Clayshaper, so a Convoking Wand crafted with Deafening Essence of Dread is the preferred option.

    Low Budget Setup

    Gear Highlights

Inexpensive rares with life and resistances

Shaper-influenced shield with % life recovery on block

Jinxed Juju for strong defensive utility

Decay Ward anointment for affordable minion survivability

Aegis Aurora for block-based defenses and energy shield recovery

A +2 minion helmet with reservation efficiency implicit and Replica Covenant can significantly boost damage later, though Replica Covenant introduces an energy shield cost. Since golems are permanent and extremely tanky, resummoning is rarely an issue.

    Skill Setup

The overall setup remains consistent for mapping and bossing:

     Lightning Golems (main damage)

     Auras and curses

     Utility minions

     Convocation for repositioning

     Shield Charge for movement

Bone Offering and Molten Shell linked to automation

    Mapping Adjustments

Use Slower Projectiles early due to socket constraints

Replace with Hypothermia once Replica Covenant adds cold damage and enables chills

     Swap Predator for Critical Damage

     Use Volley for improved clear

    Spectres, AG, and Utility

    Spectres

    Endgame spectres include:

     Perfect Blasphemer

     Perfect Hulking Miscreation (buffs)

Perfect Spirit of Fortune (Wrath and lucky damage)

    Early substitutes:

Two Silverback monkeys (Act 2 Riverways)

Host Chieftain (Act 6 Southern Forest)

     Animate Guardian (Low Budget)

    Recommended gear:

     Dying Breath

     Leer Cast

     Legacy of Fury

Hands of the High Templar with curse-on-hit

Rare gloves with cold exposureMedium Budget Transition

At medium investment, the build shifts to a pure life-based setup, pairing:

     Eldritch Battery for resource management

     Divine Flesh for damage mitigation

Divine Flesh converts 50% of elemental damage taken to chaos damage and raises maximum chaos resistance, making it extremely powerful against elemental penetration mechanics in Uber fights.

A 12-passive minion cluster jewel with increased effect, attack/cast speed, life, and resistances becomes a major damage boost.

    Gear Upgrades

Replace Aegis Aurora with The Surrender

Replica Dragonfang's Flight (+3 Lightning Golems)

Replace Replica Covenant with Fourth Vow

     +2 minion gem body armor

Since cold damage is removed at this stage, chills must be reintroduced later.

    Medium Budget Enhancements

     Use Awakened Lightning Penetration

Swap Elemental Army for Minion Life

     Automate curses via Arcanist Brand

Add a fourth spectre: Sturdy Silverback (frenzy charges)

    Animate Guardian (Medium Budget)

     Kingmaker

Crown of the Tyrant (blue socket)

Expedition's End to apply consistent chill

     Gloves with lightning exposure

    High Budget Scaling

At high investment, the build fully commits to scaling through:

     Multiple minion cluster jewels

Tattoo optimization (armor, resistances, reduced crit damage)

Multi-link wand paired with The Squire

This setup enables six- to eight-link Lightning Golems, massively increasing damage. Since Lightning Golems are permanent, the extreme mana and ES costs are manageable.

    Key Upgrades

     Progenesis flask for survivability

     Fortress Covenant jewel

Forbidden Flame & Flesh for Liege of the Primordial

Thread of Hope for efficient passive allocation

    Skill Setup at High Budget

Empower, Awakened Elemental Focus, Awakened Minion Damage, Predator, and Power Charge on Crit form the backbone of the bossing setup. For mapping, swap to Volley and Pierce to improve clear speed and shock uptime.

Wrath linked to Awakened Generosity outperforms spectre-based Wrath and is worth running even with redundancy.

    Final Thoughts

From medium budget onward, Lightning Golems feel durable and comfortable, capable of tackling Ubers, eight-mod T16s, and high-tier invitations. That said, the damage ceiling is noticeably lower than poison-based minions, and the lack of instant leech is felt in high-pressure encounters.

Despite heavy investment, Lightning Golems suffer from mechanical limitations:

     Short engagement range

     Underwhelming alternate abilities

Poor off-screen targeting POE orbs for sale

With some targeted improvements-such as increased cast range, better ability design, and improved aggression-Lightning Golems could easily become competitive again.

For now, they remain a solid but underwhelming option for players who enjoy tanky, permanent minion builds and are willing to invest heavily.

Posted in the topic MMOexp-EA FC26: Hidden Gems for Strike Like Kylian in the forum News and Announcements
    January 27, 2026 6:40 PM PST

EA FC 26 continues to push Ultimate Team customization forward, and today's content drop proves it once again FC 26 Coins. While many players were left underwhelmed by the Encore Icon Player Pick, the real headline is the brand-new "Strike Like Kylian" Evolution-an upgrade path packed with massive potential if you choose the right card.

This evolution offers meaningful boosts to pace, shooting, dribbling, and PlayStyles, instantly elevating several popular attackers into meta-ready options. Some choices shine brighter than others, though, and picking wisely matters-especially if you're investing coins or points. Let's break down how Strike Like Kylian works, which players benefit most, and which options are worth skipping.

What Is the Strike Like Kylian Evolution?

Strike Like Kylian is a paid Evolution designed to turn elite attackers into explosive, pace-driven threats. As the name suggests, the focus is on acceleration, movement, and attacking sharpness rather than raw physicality.

    The evolution adds:

     Major pace and shooting upgrades

Strong PlayStyles, including Quick Step and attacking traits

Better overall card formatting for CAM, winger, and secondary striker roles

This isn't an evolution you slap on just anyone. Base mechanics, body type, and animation quality matter more here than raw stats.

    Lionel Messi: The Standout Choice

Unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi is the card everyone is talking about-and for good reason.

With Strike Like Kylian applied, Messi becomes a terrifying CAM-focused creator and finisher. Once you add a Hunter chemistry style, his pace reaches a level where it's no longer a liability. He won't feel like a traditional winger burning down the line, but in central areas, he's lethal.

    Why Messi Works So Well

Elite PlayStyles: Tiki-Taka, Incisive Pass, Driven Shot, Finesse Shot

Quick Step adds explosive acceleration in tight spaces

Excellent shooting consistency from the edge of the box

Perfect for quick angles, cutbacks, and late runs into space

Messi's body type favors sharp directional changes rather than straight-line speed, which is exactly why he excels as a CAM. If you play possession-based or fast buildup football, this version of Messi feels incredible.

Verdict: One of the best uses of this evolution-high impact and future-proof.

    Claudia Pina: The Budget Monster

If Messi is the premium option, Claudia Pina is the value king.

Her rare gold card has been overpowered for most of the game cycle, and Strike Like Kylian only amplifies that. Even without elite dribbling stats on paper, her base mechanics are already cracked, which makes every upgrade feel even stronger in-game.

    Why Pina Still "Cooks"

Massive pace boost, fixing her biggest weakness

Gains Quick Step, which elevates her movement instantly

Excellent finishing despite not being a pure striker

Still performs even without perfect chemistry

If you don't have her Team of the Year card, this evolution is an easy workaround. Even now, her rare gold version remains usable at high levels, which says everything about her underlying quality.

Verdict: Fantastic budget-friendly choice with elite base mechanics.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Surprisingly Solid, Still Not Ideal

Ronaldo will always trend. It's Ronaldo.

Strike Like Kylian doesn't magically fix his biggest issue-lower dribbling responsiveness compared to smaller attackers-but it does make him more usable. His shooting remains elite, and with an Engine chemistry style, he still feels dangerous inside the box.

That said, he doesn't offer the same value or versatility as Messi or Pina. His movement relies more on positioning than quick bursts, and for a paid evolution, you want guaranteed impact.

Verdict: Playable, but not worth the coins over better options.

    Simmons: Quietly Very Good

One of the more underrated upgrades comes from Simmons, who gains:

     Strong pace and shooting boosts

Quick Step Plus, which is a huge deal

     Viable CAM and LM positioning

With a Hunter applied, Simmons becomes a smooth operator-great off the ball, sharp on first touch, and capable of breaking defensive lines. He lacks elite passing PlayStyles, but his movement compensates for it.

Verdict: Sneaky strong if you need a versatile attacker.

    Marcus Rashford: Risky but Usable

Rashford sits in an awkward middle ground.

On paper, Quick Step and improved shooting look great. In practice, his PlayStyle set limits how you score with him. He thrives when driving into space and finishing with driven shots, but he lacks finesse versatility.

He's better suited to striker roles, yet the evolution pushes him toward wide positions, creating a bit of an identity mismatch.

Verdict: Decent, but only if you already love Rashford's playstyle.Karim Benzema: A Much-Needed Fix

Benzema's biggest problem has always been dribbling. Strike Like Kylian finally makes it usable.

The upgrade doesn't turn him into a left-stick demon, but it smooths out his movement enough to matter. His shooting and positioning remain top-tier, and with the right chemistry style, he feels far less clunky.

Verdict: Solid upgrade if you're committed to Benzema.

    Other Notable Mentions

João Félix: Improved pace helps, but inconsistent PlayStyles hold him back

Kazá: Decent wide option with finesse and rapid traits, but oddly formatted

Van de Ven: Trending oddly-better suited for defensive evolutions

Henri (Promo): Interesting but questionable value at this stage

Most of these fall into the "wait and see" category-especially if chain evolutions arrive later.

    The Importance of Base Mechanics

This evolution highlights something Ultimate Team players already know: base mechanics matter more than stats.

Cards like Messi and Pina shine because:

     Their animations are elite

     Their body types favor responsiveness

Their movement scales incredibly with small upgrades

Paid evolutions demand reliability. You want to know how a card feels before committing, not gamble on potential alone.

    Final Verdict: Best Choices Ranked

1.Lionel Messi-Elite CAM, absurd PlayStyles, instant impact

2.Claudia Pina-Budget beast, incredible base mechanics

3.Simmons-Underrated, versatile, Quick Step Plus shines

    4.Karim Benzema-Fixes dribbling, improves usability

5.Cristiano Ronaldo-Still dangerous, but not optimal cheap Fut 26 Coins

Strike Like Kylian is a strong evolution overall, but it rewards smart decision-making. Pick players with proven in-game feel, not just flashy names.

If you're planning ahead and hoping for future chain evolutions, sentimental favorites can work-but if you want immediate results, Messi and Pina are the clear winners.
